This spring, National Geographic will premiere Genius, exploring Albert Einstein’s life and work and starring Academy Award winner Geoffrey Rush.
I became fascinated by his life story beyond his work. It’s this story, the one people don’t know, that attracted me to produce and to direct the first episode.
We filmed Geoffrey as Albert, a talented violinist, playing a frenzied cover of Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance”—a subtle tease into his lothario ways. Enjoy this sneak peek and hope you’ll join us April 25 for Genius.
